After 3 weeks of love and attention the bunny ran away. That's gratitude for you.

It was with a little help from the cats, we suspect, the latch on the hutch was a little loose and the cats were sniffing around constantly. It was sad, but we considered it to be for the best and promptly went out and bought a NEW bunny, almost identical to Florence, and the kids called her Florence II.

This new bunny is a very different bunny to her predecessor; she's friendly, cuddly, loves to be held and petted, and isn't afraid of the cats. In fact she chases them round the room!

If it wasn't upsetting enough that the bunny managed to escape, less than a week later she was returned. In chunks. On the rug.

On investigation I found a fair amount of grey fluff stuck between one of the cat's claws, the more evil of the pair. Just goes to show you really can't trust cats :(
